Tiffin University Arts Administration students also complete an internship, which allows them to partner with arts organizations. Arts Administration Degree
The Arts Administration curriculum offers a blend of business, marketing, music, and art courses, and provides majors with broad interdisciplinary skills. The degree focuses on emerging digital media as well as studio art and art history, and offers specific arts management and audience development skills. The program prepares students for future careers within nonprofit and for-profit arts and cultural organizations, including galleries, museums, arts councils, auction houses, film societies, and art education programs.
The operation of The Diane Kidd Gallery offers our students hands-on experience in all aspects of gallery management, exhibition development, contract negotiation, marketing and promotion, budget development, design of related publications, and cost and program analysis.
As an Arts Administration major, you can work towards a degree that is flexible enough to incorporate your personal creativity with real-world business skills and practices.
The Diane Kidd Art Gallery is open to the public during the academic year on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm, Wednesdays from 10am to 5pm, or by appointment with Lee Fearnside (firstname.lastname@example.org). Group tours of the gallery's shows are also available. The Diane Kidd Gallery is located in the Hayes Center for the Arts. For a campus map, click here.
